What's in a name
WHERE do I even begin with this one… Elio from Luca Guadagninos adaptation of “Call Me By Your Name” is such a mood – [deep breath, pause for effect] let’s quickly address the Armie Hammer elephant in the room - EW. But I can’t let him ruin this for me. Back to what I was saying…Elio and this movie. The nostalgia, the love, the friendship, the pain of losing your first love. The music and the visuals are both so spectacular, so thought out, so inspiring. The wardrobes of all characters, but especially Elio’s, are right on the money. And the story is just so pure and moving. It is simply a cinematic feat. And as an aside, I am leaving my husband for Timothee Chalamet.
