q: how do you choose factory partners?
a: it ain't easy. it is my goal to deliver you the best quality products that i possibly can. i am also committed to more sustainable and ethical processes. our factory in portugal runs on 100% renewable energy. they have an AENOR green energy certificate and their solar panels give them 100% of their energy needs. they are GOTS certified and oeko-tex class I. they provide above minimum wage and better conditions for their low-level workers. all employees get morning and afternoon breaks "on the house" and they have free transportation to and from work - including a mid-day transport that allows them to have lunch with their families if they so choose. all employees have health insurance with entrance in to the best private hospitals in their city. our partners in lima are a fair trade knitwear development and production company. they are woman-run and produce garments using zero-waste methods, working with local artisans and weavers to create consciously and sustainably made textiles. we want to make clothes that make us feel good AND that we can feel good about. our partners in portugal and peru are the cream of the crop and we are thrilled to be working with them.
q: what size is right for me?
a: the short answer: xs 0-2, s 4, m 6-8, l 10-12, xl 14
the long answer: our clothes are cut to have a slouchy silhouette. we prioritize comfort. i (katie) wear mediums, for the most part, but find that depending on the item, i also fit in smalls and larges. all of that to say, most women can fit across multiple sizes and size selection usually comes down to fit preference versus specific scientific measurements. please feel free to reach out to hey@shopsisterkatie.com or DM @sisterkatie for sizing questions.
q: what's the deal with exchanges and returns?
